R	Rita Di Stasio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A terrible experience, even if the location is excellent with a beautiful view of the sea. But the food was really bad, even terrible. Old and not fresh. And expensive compared to many wonderful places in Crete. Also the service was not good at all. No one wore a mask and showed no joy in serving the customers. All in all it seemed like they were just improvising to run a restaurant.

We had some delicious starters.. tzatziki, Greek salad etc. But we asked for some fresh fish and all we got was deep fried over cooked red mullet and sardines that they had clearly got out of the freezer. I’m not sure covid has been friendly to this place.. I hope they take some time to improve and get some fresh ingredients in because the setting is knock out.
T	Tim Brow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view over the bay 20 metres below the rustic wooden balcony is really lovely, especially at sunset. My wife and I ate here twice and really enjoyed watching night fall as we had our dinner. The waiter Christos is really great, and has a lovely manner that you would be hard pressed to find outside of a movie. On the other hand, the owner seems incredibly grumpy, lounging about the main lounge to do business calls and have a drink. Who knows what's got him down but with the chefs in the kitchen, Christos up front and that beautiful view this really is a fantastic place to eat. Both times we were served complimentary Raki and melon once we'd finished eating our main course which was a really nice touch. I'd say prices are high-mid range for other comparable Tavernas nearby.

E	Elena Evd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food in an amazing setting! You have to taste the local salads as long as the seafood, like fried squid and the grilled shrimps. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Don't forget to ask for the local treat, the sfakiani pie!
