★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is so worth the walk!, we went through the busy city side then back along the harbour. Beautiful as it has a lot of empty tanneries, which we explored, so interesting. There was a lot of construction going on near the tanneries of seaside apartments being renovated for summer.

The sound of the crashing waves coupled with the old, run down building and the low tourist traffic made this just a treat for us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food and even better view, the tables are situated on the beach and the sunsets are stunning. The fish was delicious and well seasoned, and the fresh calamari was honestly the most tender incredible squid I have tased in all my days on this earth. This is NOT an understatement, if you go here you MUST try it, you will be blown away. 10/10 this place is a gem, and the pricing is reasonable for Chania, especially considering the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit just to sit and chill as away from all the tourists of old town Chania. Once a busy tannery area which is now pretty much derelict apart from a couple places still running and you can see hides hung up through the windows . Very quiet little town almost a ghost town and a lot of the old building are run down and a few being restored to houses or apartments . Lots of nice places to sit and take in the scenery and unwind . Worth a visit if wanting to get away for a couple of hours .
