M	Maximiliano Scocozza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience in To Geitomikon. We ate 2 extraordinary greek dishes: home made, fresh and very very tasty. The ambience, as showed in the pictures ( we were the last to leave!!), is really cozy and we could even see the full moon arising from the ceiling of the neighbouring houses. Best of all were the service, two kind and careful young man who even shared their secret recipes with us. Everyone in hydra should visit the place. This human touch and amazing taste cannot be found so easily. Fully recommended!

The owner came right over and set us down and offered to cook just about anything on the menu any way we would like it. My wife talked about her grandmother used to cook squid and the owner promptly offered to do it that way. The tomato and onion sauce she prepared was so delicious I ignored my meal and focused on the delicious toasted bread brushed with olive oil and dipped it into the tomato and onion sauce. We felt like we had stumbled into someone's kitchen and were welcomed as family. What an experience.

Warmly welcomed and menu questions answered. Family-run. Shared a Cretan salad and an order of Mousaka. The bread was a toasted sesame bread drizzled with olive oil. Salad was delicious! Mousaka was savory and we really enjoyed our meal! Topped off with a glass of house red wine. Traditional Greek dishes.

Don't feel intimidated by the locals staring at you when you come in (a classic scene in Greece). The rooftop has a beautiful dining area. The owner is nice, the dishes are very good and affordable.

We spent at least three hours sampling all the different dishes. A home away from home! Thank you all for a wonderful experience. We hope to see you again one day.
