The apartment was ok and in a good location but the host became very unfriendly when there was an unexpected issue.

The owner is very nervous. After move out, we were accused of damaging a vacuum cleaner that we didn't use. I do not recommend

Great apartment in the heart of the city! 2 minutes away from lions square and 3 minutes from the sea. The apartment is very clean, spacious and with all the amenities one could think of. The bedrooms have a decent size, each has a windows and the bed&sofa are very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small and has an interior window to evacuate the steam. The kitchen is very nice, with an oven, coffee machine, toaster, and a perfect selection of cutlery. The living room has its own balcony, with a view towards the side street, that really makes you feel like a local :) nearby you can find great restaurants (I personally recommend Peskesi). The A/C was amazing - with just two equipment, the whole apartment had a good temperature within 1 hour. The internet was great as well - no problems with the wifi.

I have to say that apartment is in great location and well maintained inside although quite hard to find. What I did not like about the place: 1. Lack of parking - I have booked this particular place mainly because ‘parking’ stated in my booking search. I was informed about no parking after the reservation was done. Hoping to park on the street unfortunately we waisted a lot of time and stress to find a place in the evening. Finally we had to spend +15 EUR for private parking. Streets are very narrow there and it is a central location so if you need to park you better arrange something in advance or in-calculate additional costs. 2. There was a problem with water in the building during second day of the stay. Early in the morning there was no water (WC, shower & kitchen was not available to be used at all). We informed the owner to check the issue. Being informed that it might take undefined amount of time (general problem, not linked to the apartment) I wrote to the owner that we would expect a full refund as we are wasting our holiday time to pack and unpack things, search for a new place last minute, transport ourselves etc. Owner called me and was very aggressive, unfriendly and on top accusing me of “blackmailing”. We have finally changed the place and were refunded for 1/2 nights. It would be ok if not facing this negative approach.

We loved the apartment. It is on perfect location. There are so many restaurants are around. It is just 2 mins walk to the lions square which is the life center of Heraklion.... Host was really nice. We had no problem collecting the key. Apartment is spacious and beautiful. I would highly recommend it.
