★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The footprint of the old Venetian Clock. It was a great masterpiece and was the gem of the city alongside with the Loggia and the Rimondi fountain. Unfortunately the clock was demolished in the 20th century. Only two pictures of the clock survive to this day. It is not exactly known when it was built. It is known that it was repaired in the year 1601.
