Lovely villa. Good size rooms. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Plenty of wood for the outside oven. BBQ had no grill/shelf to put food on which the owner didn't seem to understand (see pic). A couple of issues were rectified quickly. A lovely lady met us for our arrival and departure however, the host lives in Athens and clearly didn't see the property. The large outside table was dirty which we had to clean before eating off of and the floor was quite dirty. The lamps in one of the bedrooms didn't work which was disputed by the host. Although the host was quick to respond to messages she was rather rude on my Airbnb profile. She stated we had left the property in a poor state which was incorrect bearing in mind she hadn't seen the villa after we left and presumably was given information by her auntie. We left wet towels which were used to mop up water from the leaking washing machine in the bathroom. These were also dirty because the floor hadn't been cleaned. There is no cleaning service mid stay which we haven't experienced before so expected the towels to be removed. We took all our rubbish with us so do not understand why the comment on Airbnb was made. Be aware there is no hot water in the kitchen which we found odd!!. If you are a tall or large person you may have to put your feet in the shower tray to use the toilet!! The shower head would not stay upright. Despite our critism we had a lovely stay. Although the hosts comment to my review on Airbnb was understanding, she left a less amiable comment on my profile, which was untrue. After reading our review she sent a message which said 'have a nice life'. Uncalled for and not good etiquette from the host.
