Helpful staff, but a bit off the city centre. Approx a 15 min walk to the bus station. The road outside is a bit trafficked, but didn’t bother us. Beds aren’t as comfortable as you’d like.

Nice place and staff. Relatively close to the city center. Check-in was easy and they had a nice juice to welcome us.

Great rooms, beds are comfy, there is AC, only complaint is the showerhead positioning is poor and you can't really reposition It. But the family that runs the hostel is very kind and keep it very clean and it looks nice. Also the view and balconies are great!

Thank you to Nikos and the staff for a great stay. Perfect location to city center and ould defnitely recommend the walk to Oia lovely experience. In the directions I have to agree it was confusing if you arrive after a long ferry trip and you don't know North from south it could take you an hr around the town to find the beautiful location which is 10.mins the bus terminal (found this amusing as we spent 3 days here walked everywhere feeling safe and ridiculous how close we were) the problem is no street names to help you!! So fo future visitors from the bus terminal ith your back to the bus turn left nd immediately left again and follow the road until you reach a bend nd around the corner you will see villa stella with a warm welcome from the owners-:) A suggestion to the owners: maybe provide some coffee and tea for self catering if one wants to have an early start before breakfast. Thank you Santorini for a beautiful experience!!!

Nikos was wonderful and pleasant. I made same errors in the initial booking, but he was very understanding and welcoming during our stay. Even though the couple that stays in the villa doesn't speak English, but they were very helpful. The villa was clean, comfortable and have all the basic amenities (good value for money). It was located 10mins from downtown Fira, which was okay for us. Definitely would recommend for those looking for a place to stay during their budget trip!

The rooms were not clean, the comforters were dirty they had to bring new ones . The rooms on website said sea view THERE IS DEFINITELY NO SEA VIEW THERE. Where this villa is located is far from city center and very high traffic if you dont plan to rent a car please go somewhere else. This villa will ruin your whole stay in the beautiful Santorini.

Edit: THIS WAS OUR FAVORITE PLACE THAT WE STAYED IN OUR 25 DAY TRIP BETWEEN IRELAND ITALY AND GREECE. The Family who runs Villa Stella was 10/10. Simply cannot say enough nice things about Villa Stella. George, Georgie, Valentina and Yaya all were super hosts, and they made us feel like we were part of their family for our 5 nights in Santorini. They let us use their phone, and they even made a few phone calls for us when the language barrier was making things difficult. The property was very unique, and you can tell they put a lot of work into keeping it clean tidy and unique. Our room was exceptionally clean every day! Our view was fantastic, air conditioning worked very well, bed was comfortable, etc etc. The location to Fira (downtown) was perfect, not too close to the noise, a short 10m walk (uphill). If you plan to see a lot of the island, I would recommend renting a scooter or ATV, as taxis are expensive. *This place is perfect, you are missing an amazing opportunity and value if you do not stay here* Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Well kept place, nice room with sea view, close to Fira center (10 min walk) and place to park car in the hotel or close by. Friendly staff, however, no privacy at all! Even when we had the “Do not disturb” sign in the door, the staff came inside to “clean”. Even after telling them that we didn’t want it, they had an excuse to go inside the room. If you enjoy privacy, don’t go there. For you to understand the level of control they put in the guests, the clean lady left the air conditioning on in my friends room, and when we came back from the beach in the afternoon the owner said that because he left it on (and he didn’t) the air conditioner was broken and because of this she took the remote control from the room. When he asked then to change the room because he would not be without air conditioning she said it was full (another lie). Since we are not stupid he immediately downloaded an remote control app in the cellphone and of course the air conditioning was working perfectly!! So she pretended to be mommy and give him a lesson taking the remote control. I’ve never seen anything closely similar in a hotel. That made our stay in Santorini not pleasant! Because of what happened, I don’t recommend! After response edit: It wasn’t me or my friend (in the other room) who left the air conditioning on two days, it was your staff who forgot to turn it off after cleaning. If you would care so much about the environment you would respect our wish of not cleaning the room every day, what we tried to say to you in our second day. Anyways, if you don’t understand that your play of pretending the air conditioning was broken was ridiculous, that was the reason why I did not recommend your hotel. If you prefer to find excuses for everything than to try to listen the negative feedback and improve your services, that shows you are really not interested in offering a good experience for your guests! For those reasons, I keep not recommending this hotel!
