Gorgeous house in a beautiful setting, just far enough outside the hustle and bustle of Oia to make it feel like a real retreat. The owner is a wealth of local knowledge and incredibly hospitable - we really enjoyed our time in Santorini thanks to her amazing hospitality. Hope to return soon!

Beautiful villa! Easy communication. Greeted us with helpful info about the island for our stay. Breakfast was delivered at a time set by us and was delicious. I highly recommend staying here. Close enough to Oia but quiet and away from all the tourists.

Vino Houses was the perfect base from which to explore Santorini for a long weekend. While not located anywhere particularly interesting (apart from being next to Sigalas winery, where you should definitely do a tasting), we rented ATVs for the duration of our trip which made getting to Oia and around the island a literal breeze. We were two couples travelling together and the Athiri villa was all we needed - decorated simply yet tastefully. If we did it again I would probably prefer to be on the higher floor, but otherwise no complaints. The real draw of the place was the proprietress, Yota. Every suggestion she made, every restaurant reservation, was perfect. It was as if she was reading our minds. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and gave us straight answers and was very efficient in producing solutions. We had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Santorini without the hordes of tourists that are sadly ruining its amazing beauty and charm and Yota made our trip a special one. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights here on vacation trip and everything was amazing.The location is ideal. Mrs Giota is an adorable host and always available on our demands.The room was brand new , very clean and comfortable. overall met our expectations and i would definitely recommend this hotel for vacation.

As first timers in Santorini, we had no idea what to expect, except the blue roofs, blue sky and blue sea. In Vino Houses it turned out to be ten days in paradise! After waking up, a delicious breakfast was served. Then lying in the sun, cooling down in the swimming pool and later in the afternoon visiting beautiful places like Oia, Fira, Imerovigli, Pyrgos and many others. Diner in one of the restaurants, recommended by Yota, our wonderful host. And ending the day with a glass of good Greek wine. One day we’ve cruised the west coast (caldera) with an organized boat trip (on a catamaran), advised and arranged by Yota. A great experience and an absolute must! Ten days in this Greek paradise really loaded our batteries. Thanks so much Yota, for this wonderful holiday!

Very friendly and helpful, luxurious accommodation, great food, great value and only a hop, skip and a jump to Oia

Very good experience here, the hostess was adorable ? very informative. When we first came, she sat us down with the map ? And showed us where to go, what is a must see, and what to do! The area where vino houses are, is a very quite area, maybe a dog barking at some point and thats it. No noises from anywhere. The cleanliness of this place was good! They provided us with whatever we asked for?? The only thing was the pool, I thought it was a hot tub, but the water was cold and I couldn’t go in! ? There is a winery near by Only a walking distance from the beach (rocky) Also you can walk up to oia (where there is life, restaurants and whatnot) if you like walking up hill its like 20 minutes? The hostess was so sweet, I would definitely come back one day?

Vino houses is located on the hill just outside Oia on the north side of the island and about a 20 minute drive from the airport, JTR. Vino houses is part of IHG and Mr and Mrs Smith and is a small and exclusive property with personalised service. The property is overlooking the town and the sea in a quiet setting. The rooms has large outdoor terraces with a splash pool and great views. There is a good size kitchen and dining area with a well stocked fridge, and breakfast is served in your kitchen or terrace. Depending on your selection you will have one or two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Whilst it is a quiet area, the Sigalas winery is only a 3 minute walk down the road, thus there has never been a better time for a wine tasting. A great hotel and fantastic service so don't miss it when in Santorini.
