Weddings in Santorini by JP - Dekigala

Παντρευτήκαμε το 2021 σε ενα αγαπημένο μας νησί τη Σαντορινη με λίγα αλλά αγαπημένα και χαμογελαστά πρόσωπα που κάνανε την ημέρα μας ξεχωριστή. Η ιδέα για τον προορισμό έπεσε στο τραπέζι για πλάκα και τελικά αποφασίσαμε να γίνει πραγματικότητα.. Στην θεωρία όλα ήταν απλά, στην πράξη όμως το να οργανώσεις γάμο σε άλλο μέρος από εκεί που μένεις είναι τρομερά δύσκολο ειδικά όταν λόγο εργασίας δεν σου δίνεται η δυνατότητα να πηγαινοέρχεσαι.. Έτσι για καλή μου τύχη βρήκα την Ιωσηφίνα! Της έκανα ένα τηλεφώνημα απόγευμα ήταν θυμάμαι του Ιουλίου μέσα στο άγχος και τις απορίες. Θέλω να παντρευτώ σε 2 μήνες ακριβώς από τώρα με λίγους καλεσμένους!Γίνεται να μου οργανώσεις τα ΠΑΝΤΑ; Μακιγιάζ-μαλλιά-στολισμό εκκλησίας-δεξίωση-τούρτα-φαγητό-πυροτεχνήματα-τρανσφερ και ότι άλλο χρειάζεται ένας γάμος;Ήμουν σίγουρη θα πει αδύνατον! Δεν προλαβαίνουμε! Και ακούω την καθησυχαστική γλυκιά της φωνή, αυτή τη φωνή που με συνόδευσε μέχρι και το τελευταίο λεπτό της δεξίωσης και με έκανε να μην νοιάζομαι για τίποτα, ΜΑ ΦΥΣΙΚΑ! Ναι, και το εννοούσε! Τα οργάνωσε ΟΛΑ και ακόμα παραπάνω απ ότι είχα αρχικά σκεφτεί και ήταν εκεί από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος, φιλική με τον κόσμο μας, ευγενική, υπομονετική, άκρως επαγγελματίας, σίγουρη σε κάθε της βήμα! Μου ενέπνεε σιγουριά! Εγώ το μόνο που έκανα ήταν να απολαύσω αυτό το μαγικό αποτέλεσμα από όλες της τις ετοιμασίες! Δεν ταξίδεψα ποτέ για Σαντορίνη αυτούς τους δύο μήνες πρίν τον γάμο δεν είχα δεί ποτέ live την Ιωσηφίνα, την εκκλησία, το μαγαζί που θα γινόταν η δεξίωση μετά τον γάμο! Τα είχα δει μόνο από βιντεάκια που μου έστελνε για να με κρατά ενήμερη για όλα. Δεν είχα κάνει πρόβα μακιγιάζ και μαλλιά! Κι όμως μου έφερε τις καλύτερες και το αποτέλεσμα ήταν άψογο!Τίποτα δεν θα άλλαζα από εκείνη την μέρα! Ήταν η ωραιότερη μέρα της ζωής μας μέχρι εκείνη την χρονική περίοδο και τίποτα δεν θα είχε γίνει από αυτά αν δεν υπήρχε η Ιωσηφίνα. Και το «κερασάκι στην τούρτα» για να γίνει η δεξίωση παραμύθένια , το έβαλε ο Ηλίας! Περιτριγύρισε το τραπέζι της δεξίωσης σε farylights και έτσι μεταμορφώθηκε η βραδιά σε fairytale το οποίο απαθανατίσανε σε φωτογραφίες και βίντεο και πάλι οι καλύτεροι!!!Και ζήσαν αυτοί καλά κι εμείς καλύτερα…!Σε ευχαριστούμε ξανά και ξανά για όλα! ????‍♀️??‍♂️❤️

I could not have asked for a more special day for my wedding in May 2019 in Santorini, and it wouldn't have been possible without Giusi! I've always been hesitant of the idea of a wedding planner, thinking I could find what I specifically wanted on my own. That said, working with Giusi COMPLETELY changed my opinion. Through video chats, email exchanges and calls she was always available, would hear my ideas and make suggestions that aligned nicely with my vision. With my husband being Italian, Giusi was a Godsend, able to communicate with half our guests in English, and the other half in Italian. She even surprised me and had my groom recite his vows in Italian and me in English, which was special as all our guests felt included. When it came to the cake, I was torn, as the menu already included dessert. Giusi suggested a "cheese" cake which we had a canapes with a prosecco toast after the ceremony. What a fantastic idea!! Nearly 2 years on, and I can't think of a single thing I would have changed. Cannot recommend enough!

Thanks to iosifina, we had the wedding of our dreams at Santorini Gem in 2019. As most destination brides, you’re nervous about planning a wedding from afar and stressing about not knowing enough about the suppliers etc, but Iosifina took all of those worries away with expert advice and reassurance. We had many detailed discussions and she was so patient with me and my endless questions! The planning process was very structured and she made me feel so at ease as things progressed. She arranged everything from our beautiful decor and fabulous live musicians, to all transport including coaches for our guests to travel back to their hotels. We had a pre wedding meeting 2 days before the wedding and we spoke about everything in depth and she made detailed notes. On the day every single thing was exactly what I imagined. Iosifina was there from start to finish ensuring everything went to plan and ran on time. Just physically seeing her made me feel less stressed and able to enjoy myself knowing I could rely on her to pull it all off. She even kept me calm and found a last minute solution when one of my bridesmaids lost their bouquet 2 minutes before we were due to walk down the aisle! She was absolutely amazing with everything she did and my husband and I cannot thank her enough for making our dream become a reality. Our day was perfect and one we will cherish forever. We are looking forward to seeing you again in Santorini some time in the future!

The most amazing wedding day May 2019. I cannot fault Josephine the whole 18 months of wedding planning she was very attentive, helpful and a friend. She made sure everything was perfect on our big day. Nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful person inside and out and a fabulous and trustworthy wedding co ordinator. When my fiancé and I decided to elope we were sure of only one thing: we wanted to elope in Santorini. What we didn't realize was how difficult it would be to plan everything out from half way across the world with only a few weeks to prepare. It was a stressful disaster. My fiancé made the first best decision in our elopement by hiring Josephine Politi of JP Destination Weddings. She is a wedding planner sent from the Greek gods themselves! She is graceful and kind, and emanates an aura of romanticism. She listened attentively to our wants and needs and executed them flawlessly. When we met Josephine and her husband, Elias, in Santorini we knew, without a doubt, we were in the best hands possible. They treated us and our wedding as if it were the most important event in the world, and that really made us feel special. Our day was seamless, breathtaking, and most importantly worry free! The love Josephine and Elias share for eachother and what they do is undeniable and that, for us, made all the difference. <3

I can't thank Josephine enough for all of her help! Everything was perfectly sorted in time, and our wedding went off without a hitch. Which is even more amazing because we only found her weeks before we were due to elope. She and Elias are great. It was very good luck to find them, fun to meet up with them, and have them there on our special day. Planning with Josephine was very easy and organized. Venue, Celebrant, altar, music, cake, video, photography, preparation, transportation, cruise, and all the extra things she figured out were all amazing. I recommend securing Josephine's help for a wedding celebration 100%.
