The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helped us with all our needs, including car hire on site and providing us with information on places to visit and logistics (how to get, where to eat, what to visit). The room was very nice and well furnished with a small terrace and rocking chairs. If we return to Santorini we will definitely book aegeeis Hotel again! Very well!

Great place, super clean super friendly staff, knowledgeable, great recommendations for food. Rooms are small, but well designed with a very comfortable bed. They have a pool, but we did not get a chance to use.it. They provide breakfast for an additional 6 euros, it is included for some bookings. The breakfast looked simple but fresh, we chose to go to the supermarket 5 min away to buy yogurt, they have a larger than normal mini fridge in the room. I would definitely come back, especially with the super friendly staff, especially Stefano!

Lovely place with nice staff. Value for money. Close to perissa beach

The hotel is literally next to the main road. There are limited times when you can stay at the pool. The rooms are small and the doors were not soundproof so you can hear the noises. Especially the guy from the hotel staff wasn't very welcoming. I don't usually write reviews, but I remembered to say to myself to write about my experience with this one. These were just my observations.

There are beautiful pictures on booking and Google , but I don't like it in real live. Rooms not comfortable, the disadvantages  are: - no mirror in room (just in bathroom, over the sink, and really small in the room, for make up only); - not good plumbing and sink; - loud refrigerator; - broken bathroom doors (difficult to close). I live in two rooms, and both of them have the same problems. Otherwise I liked everything, the staff is friendly, the hotel is clean.

We stayed for one week at the Aegeeis Hotel. The team was really nice and obliging, they helped organize a transfer from and to the port/airport for only 30€, they gave us all the information regarding bus schedules, car/quad renting and important sights to visit. The pool area, breakfast area and the bedrooms seems to have been renovated recently and are simple but light and clean. Free room cleaning every day, fresh towels and bedsheets every third day. All in all we had a good stay at the hotel, what really needs improvement is the bathrooms: way outdated, the toilet had running water half the time, the smell coming from the bathroom itself was not nice, the light uncomfortable, the shelfs absolutely useless to put anything on (crooked, too small, unstable) and the shower curtain of the tiniest shower I ever saw in my life simply disgusting. But at least we had warm water all the time. And I was really surprised because the room itself seems to have been renovated recently and the toilets near the pool area are so nice! I never noticed there are no pictures of the bathrooms in the room description and when we arrived I realized why. And that was the worst for us - deliberately not showing the bathroom situation. Also the word “garden view” is a bit missleading - you’re looking at a patch of dead earth and grass with not a single tree but as Santorini itself is a volcanic island do not expect fantastic landscapes or you’ll be disappointed. Anyway - altogether for the price still a great stay, the beach is a 15-20min walk on the street (no real sidewalk!) in full heat and sunlight so best get a Quad, then it’s only 3-5min and there’s a busy street right in front so sleeping with open window is possible but be prepared to wake up a couple of time because of loud bikes driving by. There’s a minimarket and bus station directly next door and Perissa Beach is the nicest beach on the island (trust me, we tried them all!). Since we did daily trips to about every place on the island and spend the whole day out we deferred from switching the hotel but if you want a romantic designer stay at Santorini, it’s not the right place. For a low budget stay it’s a good deal!

I was shocked to discover this is a 2 star hotel. I would definitely place it at a 3 star, pushing 4! The hotel staff were welcoming, they spoke to us every morning and were polite and courteous every time we saw them. The cleaners included. The pool was lovely, the area clean and tidy and the dining area was definitely a 4 star experience. The room was perfect for what we wanted, the bathroom was very small but had been cleaned immaculately although I’d have preferred not to have a shower curtain because it would stick to your body with the limited space we had. The patio was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the hammock that was on the balcony. I would definitely go back to this hotel, one other very small disadvantage was that we were a good 30-40 minutes from Oia which is where I wanted to head most so we had to do a fair bit of driving. If you are looking for the beach however it is extremely close not even a 2 minute drive away which was brilliant.

The rooms are not very big but have everything you need and are tastefully decorated. They serve very good snacks and drinks in the pool/breakfast area at ridiculous low prices (for Santorini). Staff was super friendly and helpful.
