★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the symbol of Rethymnon and it's worth taking a photo with it if you happen to be there! It's located at a little port (marina) which has a great view of the beach, especially during sunset!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The statue symbol of the city of Rethymno. The two dolphins were also the symbol of Rithymna, the ancient precursor of modern Rethymno. This was revealed by ancient coins that one can see at the archeological museum of the city. The statue itself is beautiful. The location is also fantastic. On one side is the marina and on the other side is the long sandy beach. Therefore, one can admire at the same time the statue, the great views to the sea, the marina and the nearby mountains.
