A wonderful and peaceful small monastery. A very kind sister led us through the area and told us about the history of this holy place. The little shop has a great variation of handmade and handcrafted goods. An absolute recommendation for a short visit.

An absolutely stunning place so peaceful. The nun shows you around the monastery and church in a lovely tour and there's a quaint shop with local produce made at the monetary such as olive oil and embroidery. We went on the red bus, which normally im totally against but this is well worth the money and has some gorgeous views!

Amazing experience. The monastery is beautiful and spiritual place. Sister from Australia takes great care of English speaking tourist and will show you the chapel and talk about the long history of this monastery. In small shop you can buy olive oil, herbs, icons and balsams which the sisters make the support them and their monastery. Great experience.

First when we arrived there, everything was closed. But we saw a paper saying that we have to ring and wait So a nun came for us and told us the history of the monastery, she told us that they have a piece of St Irene's hand and a miracle icon. Also she took us to the shop where they have many beautiful things : from icons to creams and olive oil, everything produced there.

Another historic monastery, they even have an ancient cave where centuries ago the first monks used to live there. Nuns very helpful. Nice view too.
