Cesar salad was something own creation. Yellow sauce, not too much for 8,50€ and not to good
And a different dish was cold and not so tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the 4th restaurant we visited while staying in this area and the food was excellent and so far our favorite. We got the tzatziki, margherita pizza for my daughter, Greek salad and grilled pork. The pork was so good! The rest of the dishes were as well. Breathtaking view and AMAZING service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant! Delicious food, priceless view over the lake. Here I had the best lamb ever, served with a delicious Greek salad, potatoes from the oven and an ice cold beer. I gave it a four-star review because you can't pay with card here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best panoramic view of the lake! The cuisine is wonderful and you can see the chef preparing the food. We had squid, fried zuchini, cheese with tomatoes, and spaghetti di mare. If only I had two stomachs to finish everything. The waiter brought us fruits as dessert, on the house. The portions are very generous. We recommend you this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do you know when you go to a place to eat and make you forget all the other places that you have been before? It is because the food is so good, fresh and tasty like your mother was cooking for you. The view is stunning as well. I highly recommend and I will be back !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my way to Lake Kournas I stopped by this great family-owned restaurant with such amazing views of the lake below.
You can see the ocean the lake and the mountains all together.
The service was outstanding and the food was even better the fish tasted like it was just caught first thing in the morning and the vegetables were just picked from the garden out back. And what a value for less then 35 euros including drinks.
I could not have had a better experience. So if you find yourself on Crete visiting Lake Kournas make sure you stop by for lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed and you'll have outstanding memories from the views, service and meal you receive.
