★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super lovely place with the great panoramic view over the lake, mountains and the sea! The owner is a very nice lady. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the salad and the desert! Would really recommend. 5 of 5! Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taverna Kavalos. Not to be missed. Fantastic views of the mountains and Lake Kournas from the large terrace. Spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent service and prices half that of elsewhere. Home grown veg and salad, family run, typically Greek cuisine, beautifully cooked. Enormous outdoor barbeque doing several legs and shoulders of lamb at once. Drive until you find it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is really amazing, you should definitely try the lamb! Unfortunately I need to give 4 stars (food is 5) because our experience was ruined by the service. So far this was the rudest service we had around :( The views on the lake & the food compensates though. Also no complementary Raki - what we received so far in every Taverna we stopped by (but this is only a side note:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take the effort to walk or drive 200 meters from main place, and you will get great prices and the lamb, which is being prepared right before your eyes! And the best view on the lake in the entire area will complement the evening dinner.
Also, tavern have a childrens garden.
