★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This, still small,port has grown out of all recognition since my first visit over 30 years ago. As well as the excellent ferry there are now restaurants, shops and accommodations galore!
Walking from here on any of the paths is spectacular!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From here you get the boat to go to sfakia and then with bus to Chania bus station . Dont worry there are enough buses for evry one no stress. When you get out of the boat on your way to bus station ( 3 minute away) don't run... there is place for evry one . We had return ticket from Chania bus station .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can buy the ferry tickets here which take you to sougia in 40 minutes. Prices were 11€ per person. The ferry leaves at 17:30 but you can go on the ferry around 17:00.
When you arrive in sougia there are lots of buses waiting for you to take you to the starting point or other destinations.
