★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all Agia Roumeli is an amazing place to relax. I stayed for 3 nights with my girlfriend in a room at Gigilos hotel it has an amazing view of the ocean. Only 30 seconds from the beach. You literally go down from your room, through the restaurant and in to the sea :)
The food is amazing, everything local. Prepared every day for you to pig out after a long session of sun bathing and swimming.
Can’t recommend it enough. Have fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bunch of thieves. They voluntarily mistake the prices and confirmed it after I told them it wasn’t right. Only when I brought them the menu with the right prices they admitted they were wrong and laughed at my face.
Not just because we are tourist we have to be robbed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good although smiles, free water and free fruits is apparently only exclusive to the guest of the hôtel. Plenty of other tavern around when they will make you feel welcome regardless where you come from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff seem to be selective in who they provide good service to, and they charge you as they please. One waiter asked us 2 euro for a bottle of water to take to the beach, while the other waiter charged us 1 euro. The food was fine and the view was really nice, but we wouldn’t go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was not as expected . Almost tasteless. The service was excellent though . Reminds a fast food restaurant rather a traditional restaurant you expect finding in such a location .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived after hike in Samarian Gorge hike and popped in to the restaurant looking for some fish. No fish unfortunately, which is not a problem at all. But owners were very unwelcoming and seemed like they could care less about any questions we had. I never write bad reviews but this is lucky #1. Walk further down the street to the very edge of town and you will find a gem restaurant with a very friendly owner with delicious fish. I will let you find out for yourselves what that place is, but google is your friend. Safe and pleasant travels.
