★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect restaurant with a nice view. We went there in September 2020.
After 5 hours of walking through the Samaria gorge, it was a relief to eat in such a place: the orange juice was fantastic, the beans with the olive oil wonderful and the potato dish a master piece. The fishes were good as well.
But the highlight of the show was the home made apple pie (very generous as per the picture).
Family owned restaurant with really nice people. If I ever come back in Creta, I would love to visit you again !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am still eating but I couldn't stop myself giving them 5 stars. Food is GREAT, the view also. Staff is kind and professional. Please take the stuffed zucchini flowers, the octopus and the yoghurt with honey. I was literally in ecstasy with the last one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their home cooked “garden greens” with garlic and olive oil are delicious. We came back for them 3 times! The grilled dorado fish was another dish we ordered each time. It was perfectly grilled and the greens were the best side dish for it. Highly recommend!:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good restaurant in the village at the end of one of the most popular Crete attractions. The portions are much smaller than everywhere else for such prices! But the quality is really good. You don’t have the usual Greek friendly and generous service, but it stays correct. They speak French. I advice it to those who prefers the quality no matter the costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Greek food! We went after a hike at the Gorge, were worried it will be a bit touristic, not at all. We had stuffed vine leaves (dolmadakia), sardines and a Greek salad. It was possibly the best dolmadakia I’ve had, and I’ve tried A LOT! the chef passed by and told us he picks the ingredients locally. Very friendly and professional staff too.
I saw some tourists eating ham and cheese sandwiches with chips and ketchup. If you do this you’ll be missing out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed with my friend in the hotel & we had a breakfast/lunch as well as in the restaurant. The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. The menu options are an excellent value as the ingredients are their own production. I highly recommend this restaurant & I am definitely going back if I visit again Agia Roumeli.
