Γ	Γιάννης Παναγακόπουλος on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένας μεγαλοπρεπής ναός με υπέροχη θέα. Στον μικρό ναό φυλάσσεται η κέρινη εικόνα που είναι πάρα πολύ μικρή (περίπου 3 * 4 εκατοστά). Στην μια της πλευρά εικονίζεται ο Ευαγγελισμός της Θεοτόκου και στην άλλη η βάπτιση του Κυρίου Ιησού Χριστού. Απέναντι από τον μικρό ναό υπάρχει το σπήλαιο στο οποίο βρέθηκε η μικρή αυτή κέρινη εικόνα. A magnificent temple with magnificent views. In the small temple, the waxy picture is kept too small (about 3 * 4 cm). On one side is the Annunciation of the Virgin, and the other on the baptism of the Lord Jesus Christ. Opposite the small church there is the cave in which this small waxy picture was found.

The big temple you see in the pictures is actually just a new site they are building due to the high tourist attention this one get because it's one of the OLDEST churches on the island. If you go down and around in there toull come to the actually original church that's the main reason do go there. It's built onto a small cave that you can so go it. Directly accrossed it is the Church hall which has a guard there just to ensure nothing gets stolen. He also selling holy water and a few other things. So if you would like that, bring so cash. Very elegant and beautiful place located in a gorgeous mountain side.
