And he has resantly startet a restaurant Bella Cusina serving Realy god food. Bella Casita is Placed in the middle of the northcoast, so you can reach the hole Island whit a car In one Day trips.

Hello everyone)) a wonderful stay)) the room is comfortable, but the problem was only with the shower))) there was no hot water))) I hope that the boss of the Bella Casita Hotel will solve this problem !!! since children take a cold shower is not comfortable)))??

One of us got cold food. And they said that they feared that, why serve it then? Also we could not get extra salt and pepper when we asked for it, even though we tasted the food first. Took long to get the food. Good service though.

Awesome atmosphere over there, laid back and family friendly. Steve (the owner) was also all about our comfort, which was very pleasing as he helped us organize a few activities. The rest of the staff was also super friendly. Accommodations-wise, the room we booked was nice, actually rather spacious, although we could have done with maybe a few more kitchen utensils (ie. pan, sharp knife). We also had quite noisy neighbors (locals across the street). I guess it's part of the lifestyle, but they were especially loud even late at night 1-2 in the morning. The swimming pool a few steps down the road was quite nice, big enough and also pretty deep (don't get fooled by the depth indications as I could easily be totally submerged with my hands up when the indicated depth was 1,75m - which is my height without arms raised). They provide free umbrellas and armchairs. The beach right behind that is also very nice, grey sand and pebbles with paid umbrellas and armchairs, but splenty of room as well if you just want to lay down your towels and stuff. Regarding the closeness to supermarkets and shops, this was also perfect as there's a big supermarket 50m down the road and plenty of souvenirs and restaurants, nice to go out for a walk and eat and shop :) All in all, pretty awesome experience, would wholeheartedly recommend!

We stayed at Bella Casita Family apartments for one week and we enjoyed it. Apartment was very cosy, spacious, clean and had everything you need in the kitchen to make your own dinner. Breakfast was good, but I was also hoping for some fruits. Dinner at the Bella Casita restaurant was perfect and delicious. Steve, the owner, is really very very warm person and good host. The plus side is also the location, which is close to the sandy beach and close to the central city with local bus transport. In the area, there are lots of little souvenire shops and restaurants, also the super market where you can buy basically everything. Definitely recommend to stay at Bella Casita!

I had a great time staying here. The apartments are really nice, with more then enough room, a nice balcony and a spacious bedroom and bathroom. Everything was cleaned daily. If we had any questions we could ask Steven and he helped us out. The beach was also very nice, a minute walk from the apartment. Bella Casita also lies within walking distance of several good restaurants and very close to Rethymno. The most beautiful city on Crete.

The apartment hotel is classified as a 3 star but the service definitely is a 5 star! A week in Crete in this amazing family hotel, close to a lovely beach and a nice pool for kids just before the beach as well! + The hotel workers have a great sense of service + Breakfast is kept simple and great with fresh produce + Food is from locally produced gardens / places owned by the hotel so all ingredients are very and the food is very fairly priced and tastes absolutely amazing! + Even the non renovated apartments still give a nice vibe of the 4 or 5 star hotel rooms! + Close to a super market, tourist shops, loads of diners and taverns and a bus stop! + The beach close to the hotel has the best placing and is by far the nicest area to be around on the very long beach, but be ready for a lot of waves and potential yellow/red flags when it’s windy! - The toilet in the non renovated apartment can feel a bit small and very hot and closed in since you need to keep the door closed for the AC to work. - Cleaning has been somewhat irregular but as long as you don’t make a complete mess of things that wont be a problem! Overall I’d like to say that this is by far the best 3 star stay I’ve ever had, even better than most 4 star hotels!

Great service. The breakfast was delicious. I loved the location and the rooms were so beautiful. The staff was excellent and very welcoming.
