B	Brian Coyle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last few days at Castello Bianco. Loved these apartments, booked last minute n bit worried about lack of recent reviews. Needed have fretted. New owners who seem to have spent a few quid on refurbishments have been in charge for a couple of months. Free air con , free wifi , quiet pool with a wee bar , clean , friendly staff , brand new cooker . Dont be put off by the main road running near by. A small underpass right outside front door n 2 min walk to shops and tavernas ect. Great time
T	Thorsten Hausen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castelllo Bianco is a marvelous qiuet family-run Hotel next heart eart of Platanias. Perfect for young people, Students and familiys. 2 Minutes to go to center of this pretty little valley, only 5 Minutes to the beach. Travelling to Rethymno ist also very easy by bus. To busstop also 2 minutes to go. Rooms are tastefully but simply furnished. But you should not have false expectations. Castello Bianco is no five star high class hotel with high class interior. If you need that you shoud also go to 5-star high class hotel but if you like little pretts hotels with extreme clean rooms and awesome friendly staff - this is the place you want to be. We had a great time in August there with our familiy and we well be back. Pool is nice and stylish. Food in own restaurant ist really excellent and we enjoyed our evening Mojitos at Poolbar at night as well as the exceptionally good personal assistance service. No matter if we would like to organise diving excursion, jet ski tour or what ever, concierge supported us immediatly every time at communication with all local providers. Thank you for a nice time!
I	ICMP on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel for a great price, swimming pool is awesome and the staff are very friendly and polite, we enjoyed our stay. Bathroom could maybe be a little bit better but also nice. Swimming pool is great! City centre is close-by and the beach is a 5 minutes walk.

The main street is very close (shops, restaurants, car rentals and others, 200 m. to the LIDL :-) Very friedly hotel staff, willing to help in any case. I recommand the place.
M	M. D. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, newly renovated hotel (except baths, but they are fine) with exceptionally nice owners and staff. My very spacious room faced the back of the hotel, so no traffic noise at all. Good and firm beds, everything is clean and nicely decorated. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. Really great. Long and nice beach less than a 10 min walk away, supermarkets and other stores as well just a couple of minutes to walk. Rethymnon Old Town just 15 to 20 min bus ride, tickets are only 1.30 Euro. Parking spaces, for those with an own car, just outside in front of the hotel. Free WiFi Very stylish pool with great sunbeds and nice music. I can recommend this hotel for anybody: singles, couples, friends and families wanting to spend a great time in a friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. Hope to come back again sometime. Efcharisto!
b	barry parker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a 3 star hotel offering clean (and quiet) rooms and 4 star a la carte menu. The pool and pool area is small. The beach is 10 minutes walk so who cares. (Beach sun loungers (2) and parasol (approx 5€) (As said before, the food is very good. Service can be slow. Do you have an urgent appointnent? All items may not be available on the menu. (Like any restaurant) 'A la Carte', not buffet. Working within Covid 19 restrictions the staff provided an enjoyable, relaxing and SAFE stay.

We thought it was only fair to still leave a review. The arrival was already really nice. We got a drink and could chill by the pool while we were checked in. Perfect after a long travel. We got an upgrade and had a huge apartment with 2 bedrooms. Everyday they came to clean a little and leave the menu of the next day. The food was really good so we ate there a few times. The pool is amazing and fun. Location wise it’s super close to the beach! We really loved the people who were working there. Everyone was so nice and helpful! If we ever come to Crete again we will definitely stay again!
g	grzegzimierz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay if you want to explore the island. Right next to the main road, but from hotel rooms the traffic is not audible (air conditioner is louder). Staff is really friendly, big + for letting me put my luggage in a temporary room as I had late-flight the last day :)
