★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best views on Argostoli around. The 3€ admission fee is well worth the visit. Be sure to visit during the opening hours, as the castle is unfortunately closed at night. I learned that there might also be events on the castle, ask the friendly woman at the information desk at the entrance for further insight herefore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is quite pleasant to stroll around the ruins. However it is fairly exposed so really quite hot. The views are good. And it's free to get in. If you had to pay you'd feel a little disgruntled as there isn't a lot to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only if you want to have an island overview. The remaining castle ruins are not different than any other castle that you already visited. Price of 3€ is a rip off and shame Greek ministry that hasn’t provided a P.O.S machine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was 3 euros entry for an adult and you get a basic factsheet and map. It could have done with more information either on the sheet or around the site, so like many posts regarding Greece say, do your homework before hand if to be better informed. Worth the entrance fee. Only gave it 3 stars due the paths information and upkeep. My partner is not great going around uneven surfaces so take this into account. Sunning views!
