★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Creta Beach Hotel is a very nice and super clean 4 star hotel. Especially the staff is very friendly and helpful all the time.
Our room was directly on the beach, but there are also nice and cosy bungalows in the hotel area. The private beach as well as the pool area are super clean and you can relax there perfectly.
In contrast to other hotels, we enjoyed staying not in a big complex but in our own apartment. Unfortunately, due to covid, there weren’t a lot of activities in the town, but you can easily take the bus to iraklio / Heraklion for 1,50€. In addition, there is a very good kite surf school (Iraklio Kite & Surf Club) a few bus stops away - we can highly recommend them as well.
There are two restaurants - the buffet and the a la carte restaurant. Both are delicious, but we loved our one time free visit in the a la carte restaurant, the manager is an excellent sommelier - let him recommend you a wine for dinner.
Overall we would highly recommend the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The creta beach hotel needs to review its standards, lack of cocktails, some are unavailable…The beach is not cleaned. The pool bar is opened unit 6pm, but you can’t request an ice-cream, it’s only up to 5pm…not really customer centric…
You need to pay cocktails even if you are all inclusive (all inclusive should be all !)
Sometimes the drinks are hot with a lack of ice…
The beach umbrella are rusted…
The buffet is quite the same everyday…
The waitress try to do their best but they need to improve their English & the customer centric part (not for all)
If I compare to my other travels on the same type of hotel, this one should be the worst…
Hopefully the sun is there and the temperature is high !
