Really friendly staff, sustainable. Electricity produced by themselves, no air condition only ventilators.
Delicious food, not crowded at all.
Highly recommended!

I had carrot cake, unfortunately no frosting available but the ice cream with it was delicious ! The carrot cake was more like a malt cake, not as light as I hoped but I have still given 5 stars because it was such a beautiful view, with attentive staff and service.
If you walk this far ....carry on round by the sea...its beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked here on a very hot day and was greeted with an idyllic little cafe serving fresh drinks and cakes. They had a book case full of books and magazines which you could help yourself to. Very friendly staff but respected your privacy and want of peace. Highly recommend! If we returned I would look to stay in the villas as very impressed! Thank you :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed at the Elounda Island Villas many times, and have never tired of the utterly breathtaking views and relaxed atmosphere.
This is a family run business, and the utmost care is taken to make one feel comfortable and to benefit from a break away from everyday life.
There are at least five, quite different, beaches within easy walking distance from the Villas; the nearest one being just a hundred or so steps away.
All of the villas are airy and bright and have balconies from which one can enjoy the wonderful sea views. The small kitchens are perfectly adequate if you want to cook for yourself. However, delicious breakfasts and snacks are served at the Villas' Taverna throughout the day.
Cars, and bikes (both motor and pedal), can be hired in Elounda town, where there are many excellent places to eat and enjoy the night life if required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideally located on a tiny island opposite Elounda with spectacular day and night views of this blessed area. Great hosts offering clean, spacious villas with a unique character and an serious eco-friendly approach.
The beautiful scenery, the sea breeze, the singing birds and the natural colours immediately indulge you in a unique getaway. Time stops. Mind relaxes. Body calms. Spirit flies. An impeccable feeling of serenity, a magic mind and soul trip, a much needed retreat, a true sense of rejuvenation.
Words can hardly describe this, wish it would last forever! Or, at least, until our next visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect place to rest from the noise of a big city. Beautiful nature, sea and mountains, peace and quiet. Very atmospheric apartment, very hospitable, helpful and nice hosts. Everything has the artistic soul of Mrs. Lidia who is the owner and artist, she also runs her workshops and galleries in the villa. I highly recommend. And I will definitely come back here again
