★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An architect's wet dream, a coven of narrow alleys of wrecks to restore, very simple local houses and richly renewed little hideout gems. Common throughout the Cyclades, best described as a fortified village than a castle per se.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful historical castle but it's not that big. And if you don't know the story and history behind it there ia not much to explore. Try to visit with a guide as you might lose the way in the labyrinth around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A major inland town not far from Perissa the seaside town and the black ? ? beaches. You can get to it by the bus where you can enyoy going round in the nice alleys, traditional old houses, the old Venetian Castle. Also you can see the old traditional wind mills and the sea when you go to the top. There some nice restaurants and cafes if you want to stop to eat and drink and rest. Supermarkets are cheaper than the seaside touristy ones if you want things to buy. We have visited a good supermarket and you can see the review.
