★ ★ ★ ★ ★ in the heart of Athens with so many people around in this take away coffee and sandwiches shop which is 90% crowded, , personel insist NOT to take hygiene precautions as the most significant difference between similar shops. face masks often under their noses no gloves from the girls in the coffee service, and most important they touch money and coins and then the cup of your coffee where you put your mouth. I really wonder if it is so expensive to them to put one and only person at the money machine and people preparing your coffee and food away from this process. do I really have to mention it??? show some respect to your costumers finally! what is wrong in this state? are there any health service existing in this country or not???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everest quality keeps downgrading year by year since mid-90’s. I believe now they are at the lowest point i’ve tried so far.
Late Tonight i entered the syntagma store to grab a quick bite as other stores nearby were closed (or very populated).
Circling around i saw one window of obviously cold, baked long before pizzas, bad looking ready sandwiches and other, pre-packed sandwiches and my selection for the night: the kaseri pie.
Cold, completely tasteless, expensive compared to way higher quality pies nearby. No wonder the store had so few customers. A pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most central everest store. First of all, it's found at a very very central spot. Syntagma Square. It's obviously the most populated, by both locals and tourists, and it also has an upper floor. It has huge variety of products (for example more variety of pizzas unlike most everest stores), and it's the only everest store which sells bread. Actually, I wanted to try their bread. And you know what? It was just like buying it from a local bakery early in the morning. So fresh.
On the downside, it's the only everest with a security guard (why?), and one of the few which have password operated restrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did takeaway on vegan stuff. Choices not a lot, they have burger, pizza, salad as vegan choices.
Got the burger and salad. Mum says the burger is good.
Bought 2 latte along with the order. If only the drinks comes with bag or holder. It was 6 degree in the morning with drizzle. My hands were freezing holding them and make it back to our stay.
