The hotel was great to stay at. The rooms were clean, modern and well maintained. Our room was a bit small for two people. The hotel room has a tiled (white) floor so dust and dirt tends to show up easily and to stick to your feet. The room is cleaned everyday, so it's not so bad. Also my phone had a shattering experience when it hit the floor. The shower was small as is the style in Greece, it seems. There is a (smallish) swimming pool, garden and bar in the back. The beach is a few minutes away and restaurants and shops are just up the nearby main road. The nearby beach isn't the best beach in the world, but I still went for an ocean swim most days I was there. The staff (mostly a family and few employees) is friendly and accommodating and the dinner served at the hotel hotel was Greek-mom-cooked and tasty! Hang out at the bar and chat with Dimitri. It was great, relaxing stay.

After the initial issue with our room was taken care of, everything was good. When we arrived to check in initially we were told that our room had a problem and had to be fixed, they didn't have similar rooms available in the hotel and asked us to transfer to an apartment two minutes down the road, which was inconvenient but I understand that things happen. We were asked to come back in the morning for breakfast and were promised that the room would be ready. The apartment was OK, was very outdated with rock hard beds but it was only for one night, so it was fine. When we arrived in the morning however, after having breakfast we were told that our room was fixed but it was given away to late arriving guests last night and we would have to wait till they check out. Really?! I understand when things break and need fixing but to give away our room knowing that we would come back the next morning after asking us to come back at a certain time, not to mention the fact that it was paid for - really?! And all that was done without ever saying " sorry for inconvenience" or anything of that nature, I don't know maybe it s a cultural thing . Any way, we asked to at least be given a room where we could change to go to the beach and leave our luggage, since it was still four hours away. After we returned from the beach we were indeed given a promised room and everything was fine after that. The room was big, we booked a "superior" one, breakfast was also very good. The garden in the back was quite nice, with a small pool, jacuzzi, bar, hammocks, ping pong table and a few other games. All in all it's good value for the money. And they even provided for us a breakfast to go since we had an early flight and had to leave before the breakfast was served-which was very nice.

Really great place to stay in Crete!! Small and pleasant family managed hotel. Hospitality and kindness of all the staff, without exception. Cleanliness. Thumbs up for the garden and pools space: lovely, cosy, full of trees... Home made food cooked with simplicity, authenticity and love: each day a new traditional dish discovery! Practically on the beach.... Restaurants/supermarket/pharmacy/medical offices/ at walking distance.

It's very lovely hotel with a few minutes walk to the sea. They have very nice garden as well. The staff is very lovely and helpful, if you ask for something they'll try their best to accommodate. The food is lovely as well. We had bream fish, pasta, lamb chops, Greek salad - all were very nice. There are a few places to eat near by as well. There are a few shops and a supermarket on the main street, between 5-15 min walk. Couple down sides though that our room which was on the 1st floor was quite tiny, hardly managed to fit travel cot for the baby. And there was a smell from the sewerage sometimes, I believe, from outside.

We arrived here late last night having cycled over from the east of Crete. The owner (really nice guy who loves his football) and his team were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to store our bicycle in a secure area. Three of us stayed in one room on the first floor which was perfect for us. Dinner was lovely and breakfast before a long ride was amazing. Overall the hotel is immaculate and really well maintained. Thank you ! Oh it’s really close to the sea!

Very nice place for a drink with pool and nice music. We didn't rent a room, but we used the pool garden for a graduation party. The reservation was smooth: within a couple of minutes the Head of the Department agreed with what we needed. The pool party was a great success, the staff was always there to help, very friendly and not asking for more to order. There was live music also!! The cost was very low: we paid only for what we ordered at prices of an ordinary pizzeria!!! We stayed until early in the morning without being disturbed at any time!!! Thank you very much!!!

Dark room with doves around, inside clean - wouldn't book again Liked · We've been there just for a night before flying back. The lady at the front desk, I think she is the owner, was really nice and we quickly got our room. It is pretty close to Heraklion center and harbor area by car. Disliked · For us the photos looked better than reality. Sure the price is pretty reasonable and for that it was okay. The bathroom was clean and the bed linen too. But we had a really bad position of the room. The next house was pretty close and high so the room was pretty dark. That house looked old and had a lot of doves sitting there and making dirt. That dirt was on the little balcony of us too. so I would be afraid hanging things on it. For one night it was okay but I didn't felt comfortable.
