P	Panos Toutountzidis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου του «Μικρού» (Μακαριώτισσας), αρχικά μονόχωρος, κτίστηκε στις αρχές του 15ου αιώνα. Στην πορεία, ύστερα από μια σειρά παρεμβάσεων μέχρι το 17ο αιώνα, διαμορφώθηκε σε τρίκλιτη βασιλική με δίρριχτη στέγη, διατηρώντας μόνο το ιερό από την πρώτη κατασκευή του. Αργότερα, το 1643 προστέθηκαν παραστάσεις από το βίο του αγίου Γεωργίου στο βόρειο κλίτος του νεότερου ναού. The church of Saint George of "Mikro" (Makariotissa), originally a single room, was built in the beginning of the 15th century. Along the way, after a series of interventions until the 17th century, it was formed in a three-aisled basilica with a pitched roof, preserving only the sanctuary from its first construction. In the 15th century sanctuary preserved from the original temple, remarkable frescoes such as the Virgin Mary, the Annunciation and the Ascension, as well as the saints Georgios, Ioannis Chrysostomos, Nikolaos, Polykarpos, Vlasios, Grigorios, Gerontius and Spyridonas are preserved. Later, in 1643, performances from Saint George's life were added to the northern aisle of the newest temple.
