Fabulous little church covered with frescoes as beautiful as each other, which alone deserve the visit by Veria. The entrance in October was free.

Roomed Byzantine church dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ, which is decorated both internally and externally with rare murals. Construction began in the late 13th century by Foreign scissors and completed a few years later, in the early 14th century by his wife, Euphrosyne, as evidenced by the inscription of the temple. Inaugurated in 1315 by Patriarch Niphon from Veria, while the brilliant frescoes of the interior decoration are the work of the great painter George Kalliergis from Thessaloniki, one of the most important painters of the time. External frescoes painted in 1727, completing the impressive and unusual decoration of the temple.
A single-storied Byzantine temple, dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ, adorned both internally and externally by rare frescoes. It was built at the end of the 13th century by Xenos Psalida and was completed a few years later, at the beginning of the 14th century, by his wife, Euphrosyne, as the church's inscription testifies. It was inaugurated in 1315 by the Patriarch Nero, while the masterpieces of interior decoration are the work of the great Thessaloniki painter George Kallergi, one of the most important painters of the time. The exterior paintings were painted in 1727, completing the impressive and rare decoration of the temple.
A visit won't last more than 10 minutes but it's worth your time. City reference point, within the Kontogeorgakis pedestrian street.
