Es war super wir kommen gerne wieder ! Gefallen · + super Lage + freundliches Personal + sehr sauber + das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gut gereinigt + der Abfall Täglich entsorgt. + wir hatten nie dort gefrühstückt aber es hat sehr gut gerochen und die Omelett hat gut ausgesehen ;)

Great place, great people

Friendly clean and in the heart of town.

The good. Friendly enough host. Hotel was clean in the beginning and in a good location in the centre of matala. The bad. There was not even a single power point available to charge our phones. We had to get a multi plug from the reception to share the power point with the refrigerator, which even then was very inconvenient because the power point was right in the centre of the bed. There was no electric kettle provided. The room was small. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. Our single tiny bottles of shampoo and soap were never replenished, and the bed sheets were not changed for at least three days. I'm not sure the towels were changed either. The floor was not swept properly. The lighting in the room was bad. Only a single hanging light was available for the entire room. No side lights, no night stand lamps. Very dim and gloomy. Breakfast costs extra. Might be worth a look for the price if it's cheap, but I would look elsewhere.

We stayed well, as far the expectations in accordance with the standard level of the hotel. It is not a Luxury Resort ...! We may suggest our friends to stay at hotel Sofia!

Hotel Sofia was the best sleep we've had in Crete. Cool, air conditioned room with a brilliant view. Clean and functional space with beautiful outdoor spaces. Watch your head going up the stairs! And we overslept (because the bed was so comfy) and missed breakfast. Hope to get the same room when we come back.

Nice and clean family apartment. Very central and close to the beach, restaurants, bars and mini markets. Matala is a nice tourist area, it feels like there are 95% tourists in this small village. I would recommend this apartment hotel

Good location in a quite street near center. We decided to stay for a night, but for that price I would exepct litlle biger bathrooms. Lady who checked us in was very polite. Why not 4 stars, cash only.
