A very slick operation indeed. We were given a perfectly decent automatic car at a very fair price. Absolutely recommend above and beyond all the usual global brands. Sometimes you can hesitate about using a local company without any prior knowledge. It’s a trust thing. But we read the kind reviews, took the plunge and discovered them to be completely reliable.

They were waiting for us at the airport even though our flight was delayed. Two minutes later we were at their office where they gave us a great overview of things to see and do on the island. The car was in perfect condition, had good air con and a USB outlet to charge phones etc The team at IonianCars were super helpful and we will definitely hire a car from them when we are in Kefalonia again.

We were picked up at the airport and taken to their office which is just 2 minutes away, where they gave us a map and some great tips about the island. We had a brand new Mini, which was a delight to drive around the curvy roads while feeling the sun and wind and enjoying the gorgeous landscapes Kefalonia has to offer. Dropping the car off was also hassle free and we were driven back to the airport. Five star service from Ionian cars!

Sadly I didn’t catch the name of the guy that served us, but we arrived late in the evening and he was happy to sit with us and point out key landmarks and restaurants. All of which were incredible! The car was great, no issues whatsoever and it was well looked after. They didn’t try to mess us around, simply checked the fuel was at the same level as when we were given it. They picked us up at the airport on our arrival and dropped us off. Were always super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using them on our next visit!

The guy who took our payment and gave us the car sat us down with a map and took some time to explain all the best bits of the island to see. We visited quite a few places on his recommendations were very glad we did. Had no problems returning the car. He gave us a cig lighter Bluetooth adapter for the radio so we could connect our phones. Very close to the airport, I'd recommend them.

They are located a stones throw from the airport, but they provide a personal pick up service when your flight lands (and the same when you leave). We were given a great introduction to Kefalonia by Armaldo, and the location of some excellent local cafes and restaurants, as well as beaches and other sights. We really appreciated the local knowledge as it was our first time visiting. No issues at all with the rental car - clean and tidy, mechanically sound and with an excellent AC, basically as you would expect. We would definitely choose IonianCars again.
