★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quaint and lovely museum that showcases the history of Hydra as both a crossroads of naval trade during the 18th century (and the standards of living a wealthy captain of the time could enjoy) and, later, as a refuge and font of inspiration for artists.
Apart from the lovely manor itself and the great view of Hydra town, the 2nd feature also features a surprisingly robust collection of traditional festive outfits and jewelry from all over Greece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Insteresting cultural stop on Hydra. The lady at the reception desk was charming and talked to us about the island and museum. There is a nice collection of folkloric costume upstairs. Very well preserved house giving a glimpse of insular life in the late 18th century golden period.
