The only thing which is not that perfect is that you have to change your clothes in car. (There are some dogs around but very cute and friendly. Maybe you can take some snacks for them if you want.)

At the natural thermal pool at Thermopylae you can do it even in the cold winter months. The water are fantastically warm and welcoming, the odor is of course not so inviting, but you can get used to it. The only problem is that there is no place to take a shower afterwards. But maybe the fact that this place is so neglected is also what makes it so wild and scarcely visited.
K	Katia C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice thermal pool. It's about 40C warm...like a nice warm bath. Amazing! The little waterfall was like a back massage. We were lucky to be alone, but after us came 2 more local people... Yes- there is a camp nearby- BUT it's NOT a Gypsy camp. It's an UN refugee camp and they didn't bother us or made us feel uncomfortable. Where the big waterfall is was a nice local vendor selling honey and homemade pickled fruit (sweet). We bought a few of them and already tried them. They are delicious! You can put a little bit in your yogurt or on bread. It's not jam...try it for yourself...and meanwhile you support some locals ;-)
V	VRJ Halliday on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little spot to enjoy some thermal water. Yes it does smell it’s thermal. It is just a stream that has been made into a pool and It was quite hot. We drove past the building and followed the fence and you have a more private pool area. There are security guards to stop you from going into the refugee camp and visa versa. Nice stop. A little bit of ru Noah though
L	Lutz N-H Bike traveler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's still warm enough in the winter months to have a wonderful bath here. It's a big camping spot there for free.
S	Sophia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely thermal pool, the water is 39 degrees Celsius, great for relaxation, but also joint pain and muscle pain! There's a big rope to help you get into the water, as the floor surface is very slippery. Would recommend a visit 100%!
