β β β β β Very nice and sandy beach with free beds on the grass and paid beds on the sand. Kids -friendly, very calm and low water, no stones.

β β β β β Sunbeds cost money (no surprises here), very very nice beach as there are no pebbles and barely any waves. Lukewarm water (June) so in that regard perfect. Also the music is not too loud, albeit monotonous. What was far from perfect was the food we ate - mushrooms and fries. Both disgusting, felt like they were baked/fried in old sunflower oil and then drenched in olive oil with a mountain of salt. Also, we had freddo cappucino, apparently that comes without milk and just tasted like instant nescafe coffee - that set us back 20 euroβs (incl. 1L sparkling water). Cannot recommend eating here. Otherwise fine for sunbathing or a refreshing dip in the water. 2 stars as i cannot say anything about the rooms.

β β β β β Love the hotel! We came here for a week as a couple. The owner is a very nice guy, he's also a DJ and plays really cool music at the beach bar. The grass sunbeds are free for guests and beach sunbeds are 8 euro for two. Breakfasts aren't very luxurious, but you get some bread, fruits, yoghurt or eggs as well as very tasty coffee served by a keen, always smiling waiter so we enjoyed them. Rooms are nice and tidy with cleaning very professionally every 3 days. It's a nice quiet place for people who seek for some peaceful vacations. Strongly recommend :)

β β β β β The beach is beautifull, one of the best in Zakinthos. Unfortunately today there were some waves and very strong currents pulling multiple people to the right of the clifs. Some managed to climb the rocks but a women did not and eventually drowned despite efforts to get her out. The beach administrator was completly unprepared and unreactive. He did not warn anyone to get out of water, he did not display a black flag, he did not hurry to call skijets for help or even provide minimal life saving device. We managed to get her out of the water after 20 minutes of drowning and despite the best efforts she did not recovered. We argued with him at the end, he said he does not care and it is not his responsability for what happends in water so he refused displaying a black flag for the incoming tourists. We managed to get out of the water more then 20 other tourists that were not aware of the strong currents. Even though the beach is nice, the fact that the owners have such a high disregard for life makes it very difficult to recommend.

β β β β β It is calm and quiet beach and no waves sea. Sunbeds 8 euro, but no service on the beach, you have to walk to the bar to buy drinks.
Recommend it for a quiet day at the beach

β β β β β Beds on the grass are free if you buy lunch and/or dinner at the bar. We went to Plaka last summer 2021 at least 5 times. The bar manager, the restaurant manager and the two boys that did the restaurant service were all very very kind and helpful. The food was great and our family loved it there. We are clearly not Greeks (we're dutch) but we are sure they didn't treat us any less, they welcomed us every time and were just happy with us as customers. We took out friends with us the other day and they loved it too. If we go to Zakynthos again in the future we will definitely come back here!
