Great staff + a perfect see view
The Hercules burger (feta and grilled vegetables) and fries is tasty
The pasta with vegetables are also well cooked
Homemade revisited cheesecake in desert (see pictures) is amazing!

this café bar offers also a stunning view of the bay of matala.
it was not overcrowded - maybe because it is a little bit hidden.
personally, i like the fact that they have a special filtering system to get rid of the chlorine of the tap water a lot.
in the end, a great place to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Portside is a really cool bar and restaurant right on Matala bay. We've been visiting for a number of years and it is always ace. This year they have introduced a varied food menu to go alongside the cocktails and ice cold Mythos beer. It is really relaxed with an upbeat lounge music vibe. Gianni, the owner, is so friendly and often slips you a shot of something exotic as a gift from him. Warm smiles, cold drinks, good food and great music. I thoroughly recommend. Nick and Marion
