★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Οικοδομήθηκε γύρω στο 250π.Χ. από τον βασιλιά της Μακεδονίας Αντίγονο Γονατά , όπως δήλωνε επιγραφή στο επιστύλιο : « ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΑΝΤΙΓΟΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ ΜΑΚΕΔΩΝ ΑΠΟΛΛΩΝΙ » . Στον Δωρικό θριγκό , τρίγλυφα εναλλάσσονταν με ανάγλυφες κεφαλές ταύρων. Το άγαλμα του Γάιου Βιλλιηνού ανθυπάτου των Ρωμαίων δίνει μια ιδέα για το ύψος της στοάς και την εικόνα που θα παρουσίαζε το ιερό με τα εκατοντάδες αναθηματικά αγάλματα.
 It was built around 250 BC. by the king of Macedonia Antigonus Gonatas, as stated in an inscription on the entablature: "KING ANTIGONUS KING DIMITRIUS MACEDON APOLLON". In the Doric triumvirate, triglyphs alternated with embossed bull heads. The statue of Gaius Villianus, a viceroy of the Romans, gives an idea of the height of the portico and the image that the sanctuary would present with its hundreds of votive statues.
