s	sergiu malutan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for our honeymoon in Crete and we enjoyed it, big room, relaxing beads, near the beach. The swimming pool is a good feature too for the days when you don't want to walk to much.

It is just of the malia strip - close enough to walk but far enough for a peaceful night - Defo reccomend staying here.

The owner, Marina was lovely; very helpful and friendly - always with a smile. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious with a very nice balcony view to the pool. The air con in the room was excellent, because even during the very hot days (we stayed in mid August for 5 days) the room was cool in a few minutes. We would highly recommend as its location (a few steps away from Malia centre but still in a noise-free area) and the quality of service is brilliant. We will definitely stay again!

The owner and staff make you feel very welcomed and provide a huge amount of information about the island (as a lone traveller it was much appreciated). The room was perfect and beautifully styled with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the pool was gorgeous to relax by during the day. Food was sufficient and they provide a small buffet breakfast every morning. Highly recommend staying here.

It is also comfortable that it has parking and it is at the end of a street so it is very quiet. It is a family ran hotel and they we were all very nice and welcoming! They have a good breakfast selection (for purchase) and a lovely pool. The only reason I cannot give the hotel 5 stars is because our room was quite outdated. They have remodeled rooms with their own private pool (which were unfortunately sold out when we booked).we would recommend to spend the extra money for the modern rooms as I’m sure it will make your stay more pleasant. If we are ever in Malia again we would return to check out the new rooms.
J	Jolanta Cieplińska on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful, atmospheric place run by a family :) the center is 20 years old, and the conditions seem several years old, it is very clean, comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, the water in the shower has very good pressure, the beds are extremely comfortable, the bedding is pleasant. The area with palm trees by the pool gives you a unique rest, the pool is perfect. The hosts are always happy, friendly and discreet. Proximity to the beach and the center of Malia perfect, pleasant walks to restaurants that are delicious! Hotel Syrene, which is right by the sea, provides in the evenings a variety of music that is pleasantly heard from a distance. We would like to thank the hosts for a wonderful, well-kept place and discreet but significant service. We had a lovely little Greek holiday. We will be back! The Cieplinski-King family
