★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place we've had the chance to eat in Crete! Seriously, nowhere else did we feel so well welcomed - fantastic home atmosphere, reliable service at the highest level. And the food? DELICIOUS! Each dish pleased the eyes and taste buds. You must try seafood - the highest quality products and preparations, all fresh and appetizing. It was not a problem to freely choose what we want to be among the seafood mix. Grilled squid and octopus are simply heaven in mouth. Even their classic fish tastes amazing. We have never eaten better prepared seafood. We decided on this place due to the impossible ratings on Google Maps - a rating of 4.9 with more than 500 ratings is really a feat. And as we found out for ourselves that this place really deserved this result! We recommend the place with all our hearts and wish the hosts as many guests as possible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. The tavern is operated by the same family since the opening in 1982. They tend to make you feel welcome and appreciated with kindness and good service and having a laugh with everybody at the tables. The service is perfect but the food is even better. From all the restaurants i ate in Crete this is the only one that made me think this is real Greek food - large portions, tasty, and with a lot of food from their part - they gave us a lot of starters from the house and they will give you deserts from the house. A great experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful family owned little tavern with most friendly staff and long history. Food was delicious, especially the fried anchovis. In the evening the atmosphere at the beach is really nice, interior stye can‘t be more Greek :) totally recommend this little gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family Taverna in it's third generation now. The relaxed and humoristic dynamic between the 2 brothers and their cousin is great. They form a bond with every customer to do their upmost best to make your diner a party, while they shouldn't have to do it at all because the food is great anyway. A warm welcome and a warm goodbye makes you want to eat here again...and we did as a celebration for our 5th wedding anniversary.
Be on time to make your reservation because they are booked full fast!
