★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in the vicinity it is a must. I would say it is the Ancient Olympia of Messini. Very well preserved, very clean, very tidy. Use the many olive trees as shade against the sun. Bring suntan lotion and water. It will take a couple of hours to go around.
