The Island Concept - Akrotiri

An absolutely stunning hotel. The design concept harmonizes beautifully with the breathtaking landscape. The interior design is simple but elegant. The location is quite near Agios Nikolaos (about 8min by car). I recommend renting a car: the street is not suited for walking. You can also go by taxi (€8 one way). There are 15 rooms, ours - Syros- had a jacuzzi and huge terrace. The room size was ok, I would have liked a little more closet space and a fridge. Temperature of the jacuzzi was in the low side. The hotel also has a private beach with comfortable loungers and very nice trees for shade. Beach towels are available at every location: beach, pool, rooms. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Big thanks to Maria especially! Food at breakfast is good and fresh, you have plenty of options. There was however an excessive use of pepper and olive oil on most dishes. Dinner is the weak point: not very varied, extremely overpriced. We went to the city on most evenings and got much more and much more interesting food and drinks for a third of the price. The bar is nice, it would be even better if the lights could dimmed in the evening and seating around the pool (other than the sunbeds) were available. All in all: I definitively recommend going there. We were enchanted by The Island Concept and would love to return next year!

What can I say about that outstanding hotel! Amazing property, lovely people, great food and a breathtaking view. Our room was very spacious for 2 people and super clean. Especially these days with the whole covid situation, everyone was so professional and we were feeling very safe. We are planning definitely to come back. Thank you!

we are more than thrilled with the location, the service and the concept of the hotel. Everything here is very well organized down to the smallest detail, it is a boutique hotel with about 15 rooms, but each of them has a sea view, our room even has a large terrace about 10 m long with two loungers, there are also rooms with a whirlpool and the rooms are named after the islands of the Cyclades store. in general the whole hotel is very well organized and the food is also very good. the whole team of the hotel is always very committed to create an extraordinary experience for the guest. We would especially like to thank Maria from the reception, she made this stay a little paradise. The hotel also has a private beach which is very nice, you can go into the sea for more than 100 m and you are still standing with your feet on the bottom of the fine sand. The hotel's pool is also very nice. All in all, we can only warmly recommend the hotel and would like to thank Maria and the whole team—. german: wir sind mehr als begeistert mit der Lage den Service und mit dem Konzept des Hotels. Alles hier ist bis ins kleinste Detail sehr gut organisiert, es ist ein Boutique Hotel mit ungefähr 15 Zimmern allerdings hat jedes davon Meerblick, unser Zimmer hat sogar eine große Terrasse ungefähr 10 m lang mit zwei Liegen es gibt auch Zimmer mit Whirlpool und die Zimmer sind nach den Inseln der Kykladen Laden benannt. generell ist das ganze Hotel auch sehr gut organisiert und das Essen ist auch sehr gut. das ganze Team des Hotels ist immer sehr engagiert um dem gast ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis zu kreieren. besonders möchten wir uns bei Maria von der Rezeption bedanken sie hat uns diesen Aufenthalt zu einem kleinen Paradies gemacht. Das Hotel hat auch einen Privat Strand der sehr schön ist man kann ins Meer hinein gehen bestimmt über 100 m und man steht immer noch mit den Füßen auf dem Boden des feinen Sandes.der Pool des Hotels ist auch sehr schön. Alles in allem können wir das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und möchten uns bei Maria und dem ganzen Team bedanken

One of the best experiences in Crete! We stayed in the room Santorini and the view was amazing! The facilities like the jakuzzi were awsome the food and service as well and last but not least the stuff was very polite and helpful! We will definitely come back again next summer!

Incredible Crete at its best! Stunning boutique hotel with a private intimate beach, gorgeous rooms with special touches including private jacuzzis and pools, but what sets Island Concept even further apart is it’s incredible staff/hosts that provide genuine superb hospitality. Can’t wait to return!

Lovely beautiful place, situated on a higher corner overseeing the sea and the far away Cretan mountains. The views are breathtaking. Each room has an amazing view, all areas (private or shared) are super beautifully decorated and taken care to the smallest detail. The staff is super attentive and trying to please you at all times. Great breakfast. The small private beach was a super nice add on, even if (due to the river close by) the water had pretty cold currents. We enjoyed it anyway.

Undoubtedly, stellar customer service, capturing the authenticity of Greek flavours and local products with a haute-cuisine twist! Having travelled all across the Mediterranean I truly fell in love with this unique place and the friendly staff who made our stay so unforgettable and pleasant, so will be certainly returning again. I highly recommend!!!
