Amazing unique meals of the traditional cuisine with a quite interesting innovative touch in a truly beautiful interior and cozy environment. All mouthwatering dishes that leave you feeling blissfully happy and satisfied are made of the best quality fresh products and organic ingredients, all carefully grown and selected from Crete. In addition, the dessert is absolutely divine; and, as I am a wine enthusiast, I had the opportunity to pair sophisticated wines to each of the tasty dishes, since Veneto's wine cellar is one of a kind! The staff is attentive, caring, kind and treat their guests like family. I strongly recommend this little jewel. People who enjoy life would love to indulge in a unique dining experience to treasure! P	Pete Davis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forget the low star reviews, these people clearly have unachievable expectations. We ate here at 7pm on a Saturday night in June and had no trouble being seated. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food is priced at a comparable level to other restaurants although the wine, for me, started a little on the high end per bottle. That said I completely forgave the price of the wine once I tasted the food, it was exquisite. My wife had slow cooked goat and I had Gruyère gnocchi and oxtail. While the dishes weren’t huge the flavour experience was top notch. If a huge plate of food is all you want regardless of taste then don’t go here. If you want fantastic flavours then give it a shot. We were going to have the same desert but the waiter advised us to take two different choices and share. So glad we did, we had hot sfakain pie and had the cheesecake with strawberry sauce recommended to us. Made with goats milk the cheesecake had a milky taste which I have never experienced in a similar dessert before and it was fantastic. Our experience from start to finish was exceptional. A shared starter, two main courses, two desserts and a bottle of wine came in at 100 euros which included the 14 euro tip we left. We would definitely return.

The cellar is unique and the wine list too. Last but not least, the location and the building are unforgettable!!! Don’t miss to try the chocolate ganache. For me it’s the best place to dine in Rethymno.
