★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really a wonderful experience! The food, presentation and the service was excepcional! And the price was also a wonderful surprise. We had the moussaka (homemade and delicious), chicken gyros (a huge plate for 7,5€!) and a risotto. We felt well taken care of (a waiter, probably the owner) came a couple of times to ask how we felt, and at the end we were invited to the dessert and he drunk a raki with us. A very warm gesture thar we appreciate a lot. It really deserves a visit! We will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard good things from my wife about this place because of trip advisor but we were sadly disappointed. We were the only 2 people there and they just couldn’t be bothered with us, not attentive at all and staff just seemed they wanted to chat and giggle with each other. I’m no karen and want people working and visiting to have a good time but they couldn’t give a s**t. Food was good, just a shame our experience was poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere, but I had higher expectations for the food (maybe because of the reviews here), especially for the grilled octopus. Otherwise they give some bread and appetisers (in my opinion not so tasty, because the bread is cold and appetisers was not spiced), sfakiani pita/pie (with local cheese and honey) was really tasty, dakos was also good. But there were no spices on the grilled octopus - even no salt, no olive oil, only half a lemon, so I had to ask for some salt and olive oil. Definitely this is the weakest octopus meal I have ever eaten in Greece. I thought all Greeks cooked it with their eyes closed. And this is the only place in Crete, that we sit, where they don’t give a raki as a compliment and digestive, so me and my husband were really surprised and a little bit disappointed. At the same time the compliment was some sweet which was interesting but too sugary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first time in Crete and we’ve been recommended by Cristina who works for the Aquarius Hotel Boutique in Rethymno. From our arrival we felt In love with the atmosphere and environment. Not to mention the food was superb and Costa and George (the owner) made our experience unforgettable with their service and their kindness. The value for the food was unbelievably amazing and great portions too! Thank you so much guys for everything we will come back again and will recommend your restaurant to everyone xxxx
