The Dutch hostess and Greek host are people with eye for detail in comfort. Apartments are cleaned multiple times a week, friendly for kids (who automatically find each other) a big 5 star from us. (Family with 2 kids, traveling in high season)

Kids mix effortlessly in the pool or in the adjoining cafe playing board games. Parents get to relax and read a book safe in the knowledge the kids are safe and enjoying themselves. We came back for a second year because we enjoyed it so much the first time.
C	CARLOS CABALLERO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice accommodation, very good service and very beautiful place. Personal working there is very warm and friendly and will make you feel like home. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because of a small problem with the temperature of the shower and because the bar doesn't offers much food to choose. The closest beach is a quite busy but in 15min. driving you have some very nice beaches to go. If you go to Crete and want to stay close to Heraclion but in a more quite and authentic place you should give it a try.

The gardens are blooming and full of fragrant flowers as well as plentiful fruit. Lydia, Nikos, Maria and Theresa were delightful and welcoming without being intrusive. They go over and above to make sure you have a truly relaxing holiday that is tailor made to your requirements. Would advise a car to explore areas further afield as it is just so picturesque.
E	Erin S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ippocampi is truly heaven on earth. We stayed here in June 2021 when the otherwise bustling area was rather quiet. Ippocampi is designed so thoughtfully with white walls curving around the natural landscape to provide areas of privacy and numerous places to quietly enjoy your surroundings. The pool area is divine, the food is delicious and the rooms are very tastefully decorated and comfortable with everything you need included. It was punishingly hot when we were staying here so I’m afraid our poor little a/c was not up to the task of keeping us delicate flowers as cool as we would have liked, but we made it work and requested a fan which certainly helped. Although Ippocampi is a very special place on it’s own, Maria, the hostess extraordinaire is what really made the experience so special. It takes a lot to stay so upbeat in the heat, but Maria was always so cheerful, and helpful and accommodating….making and serving meals, checking people in and out, calling taxis and dropping off poolside drinks. I truly don’t know how she does it!
