"We don't have a menu, I am the menu". And he was a good one! We've had a very tasty lunch in a cosy environment! Natural shade of grabes and tree.

Food, location and staff are excellent. The people running the business are literally on their toes and running. The galactoboureko at the end of the meal was most welcome. I beg you, DON'T park on the plaza in front of the restaurant. It ruins the view for everyone! There are more than enough parking places 50m before the restaurant.

Friendly and welcoming tavern owners, nice view, clean and traditional and the food (home made feta cheese, wild greens, boar, hilopites) was just amazing! Best we had in the area and very affordable too!

Zerzova is a taste temple in the middle of nowhere. March 7th 2022 was the last day in this location, the new one is closer to Dimitsana, in Markou village, overlooking the Lousios gorge. Mr. Yiannis, his wife Vangelio and their team will surely keep up the amazing name they built for themselves, we cannot wait to come to the new place!

Zerzova is a gem of a taverna that you’d never expect to find where it’s located. Google maps stopped guiding us after the initial crossroad leading to Panagia, the village where Zerzova is, but we just kept on driving believing in the reviews we’ve read. We were the first in, on a Saturday at 13:45. We were asked if we had a reservation, and we didn’t. Partly because they seemed genuinely nice people, partly because my wife is pregnant and partly because we were “early” they gave us a table that had a reservation at 4pm. I was thrilled not only because we had been driving 40km to get there but also because the smells of the freshly cooked food were hitting my olfactory system. We ordered fresh beetroot and spicy mushrooms for starters and brandy stewed wild boar and tomato stewed beef. I forgot to mention that all of their produce is from their farm...the plates arrived and it was an unforgettable experience. The pictures below don’t even start expressing the quality and taste. Fun fact: the food was so good that my wife and I started making up a “top 5 best food” we’ve ever had (worldwide and budget-wide) together and Zerzova made it up there...We will be back here. Traditional tavern, very simple and original, but serves delicious plates and has selection of great wines.... Staff is very friendly,sure not recommended to vegans.

Hands down the best food in Arcadia. All meals are fresh, good variety and cooked perfectly. The wild boar was one of the best pieces of meat I've had, their salads literally are straight out of the garden, and their icecream......well, try it and find out. Μπράβο

Very nice local food. Simple but full of taste with home grown products. Fantastic tomatoes. Nice owner and village. Visited it after a fantastic mountain drive from Karitene
