Nice apartment, amazing view, friendly owners and staff and delicious food!

This place is paradise! The accommodations are cozy and comfortable.Each unit is outfitted with all the thoughtful details that make it a pleasant stay. The owners Anna and Kristos are welcoming, warm, wonderful people and the staff make sure all ones needs are mer. The view is unbelievable and definately worth repeat visits..

On reflection, we feel that we were the victims of agism and sexism. We were the youngest residents in the hotel by several years. The majority of residents were of around retirement age whilst we are only 30. What’s more, we were the only two women travelling together. I do not believe that he would have spoken to a man in the way he spoke to us. Equally, we weren’t spending as much money in the hotel as other guests as we were happy to go into the local town in the evenings. I don’t think this went down well as it is clear that the restaurant is prioritised over the hotel. I believe that he tried to exploit the situation, believing that we would be intimidated when he started shouting at us and making demands for money - which we were not. He would have had a fair argument if he’d just asked for us to pay for the sheets and towel which were genuinely heavily marked, and I would have paid without hesitation or grievance. However, the way that he persisted to insist that all the laundry was paid for felt like a scam. He clearly saw us as naive - and didn’t care if we never came back as we weren’t spending big money. His disdain for guests leaving the hotel to eat had also been made apparent when on our third day we asked for recommendations of bars in Elounda (the hotel offers no entertainment and the bar was noisy, but filled with older couples and just not our scene). Despite living in Elounda, he said he didn’t know of any. When we did find a bar, they asked us where we were staying and the reaction was “oh”. I questioned this, and they replied, “I know the manager”. So, ultimately, a horrible experience. We were very relieved to leave and would never return. If you’re happy to eat in their restaurant every night and are in a position to spend, you’ll likely get good service. But if you’re looking at the studio room and enjoying getting out and about, literally go anywhere else. The view isn’t worth it and can be found elsewhere.

Breathtaking views and immaculately presented, this place is an absolute gem. From the moment you step foot in this property you are completely memorized by the views and beauty of the grounds. Nestled perfectly between 2 towns you have the choice of travelling to either by car or local bus (which has stops right outside the property), each town having its own qualities. Escape the hustle & bustle and enjoy the serenity this property offers. Great honeymoon location. Pool and grounds are spotless. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The owner Kostis is warm & friendly. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back!

Great place!!! Swimming pool is beautiful with amazing view, people are lovely, great massages, food and cocktail are tasty. Everything you need for a good time!

Loved the room. Simple but beautifully appointed. Incredible value for the location. Stunning views and a fabulous pool. The food from the restaurant was delicious, cocktails divine and staff and owners just lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

To be honest, it´s unbelievable to read, that so many folks gives 5 stars and say´n, that food was perfect, kitchen was well equipped.....because my experiense was totally different. I have been in hundreds hotels all over the world and I just can´t give more than 2 stars and the 2 stars just because the view is really great from restaurant. But in hotel, even they promise sea view, you can actually see the sea from some rooms only. The food is ok, you can eat it, but compere to any other restaurant in Agios Nikolaos, it´s below average, so basically if you don´t care about the food and like to see the great view, it´s great, but if you like to get some nice food, nope, I can´t recommend. The stuff was nice, but the owner was.....rude and strange guy. He´s smile is not real, I can tell you. When I was check in to hotel, they doesn´t mention, that you have to keep your room key with you. The key have a heavy metal keyholder, so you can expect, that you have to leave the key to reception. Well, I did and one night, when I came back to hotel, the reception was closed and no one did not answer to phone, so I was not able to enter my room during this night. Next day I mentioned the problem, the owner was, like it was my own fault. That was the first time in my life, I couldn´t enter to my room in hotel. Just be careful. Probably that was a bad luck, but if you like to get the best of this hotel, mean the view, just stay in another hotel and eat in other restaurant, just visit the restaurant to have a couple drinks to enjoy the view. PS! The bathroom was full of little warms. It was quite disgusting

We can only be positive about this place. If you want a view from your room like a postcard, then this is the place to be! The room we had was good, you should not expect the great luxury but rather the cozy Greek style. Everything you need is available and if anything is missing report it to reception and they will sort it out as soon as possible. Since the weather, sunny but very windy, unfortunately we were not able to use the pool, but it is undoubtedly a beautiful location for swimming. One evening we drank our aperitif at the bar and had a good conversation with the owners. As for the breakfast, tasty, but you should definitely eat in the restaurant, the slow-cooked sheep and lamb is a must. We would like to thank the owners and the whole team for the nice time we had.
