★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 3 hrs seeing the ruins, you will be tired and not want to stop. Stop here on the way Out. The most important statues found are here. It's a 3 room museum and your ticket to the ruins also gives you entrance here. Do not miss the 2 statues found at the estate of the Roman governor of the city once Rome took over

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful statues and really great arcilogicol site. Only bad thing, the don't have any stands selling water etc as at Mykene or Epidourus. As always more information tablets about everyday life would be nice for the public. We really loved how they rebuilled the place to former glory. Good job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous small museum, lots of artefacts relating to ancient messinia. The site below with theatre, amphitheatre and later buildings is so worth seeing. Beautiful place to spend two or more hours pondering the history!
