★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. As you walk out of the airport onto a busy road towards the Green Motion compound and your luggage gets stuck in the gravel and dust which replaces the pavement, know that this is just the beginning of your troubles. Huge waits, broken cars, inflated charges, zero understanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We traveled in a group of two families and rented two small cars. One of them, a very old Fiat Panda, was in very very bad shape. The other, a Skoda Fabia, was decent with some scratches etc. (But overall ok). However, we got a scratch on the Fabia, as seen on the picture. This tiny scratch cost me 450€ (damage repair cost and cost for the time the car can't be rented because of repair time).
It is obvious that the Fabia will not see a repair crew in the next 10 years and Green Motion is earning money this way.
Please rent a car from the big companies, although a little more expensive at the beginning, there should be less costly surprises.

Booked a car online. Credit card was in the name of my partner (second driver), but linked to a shared bank account with me (first driver, booking was in my name). When we got there, the man helping us pointed out this was a problem for the insurance, as it was stated in the website that the credit card should be in the name of the person that made the booking. Fair point, that was my fault. Did read it, but didn't think it would be a problem.
I think the person helping me had three legitimate options: 1. Ignoring it and giving us the car anyway; 2. Changing the booking for us so the names were correct, or let us make a new booking online at the spot; 3. Refuse to give us a car, because rules are rules.
Instead, he refused to help us unless we paid 230 euros for some random and vague extra insurance. I get that I was in the wrong, but he could not explain how this situation was more than a small administrational mistake that could be amended really easy, and what this expensive extra insurance did to fix it. We really needed the car, so we had no other option but to pay. A really stressful start of our vacation.
The car itself was fine. Used it a lot; not a great car but not a bad one either. Did what it had to do. Reading the other reviews we were lucky to have no problems along the way.
