They will ask you to provide them an approximate time when leaving the car. Make sure that they write as late as possible. Why? If you tell them " I will leave back the car around 14:00, they will say to you, "Please leave later thu we do not have open all time."
Then when you leaved the car 1-1,5 h later they will charge your credit card with almost 100 Euro extra due to that you were leaving the car later than they wrote at the contract. If you tell them, "you told me to come later", then they stop to listen to you and are really rude.
Secondly do NOT agreed that Avis shall fill up the tank for you. They prank you and said to you following: "if we at Avis fill up the tank you will only paid aroud 1 Euro per liter.
Do NOT do that, it is a big lie. They will charge your credit card at least 2 times more compared to the gas station 70meters from the Airport.
If you are going to hire a car in Kalamata Airport I strongly recommend NOT to use Avis or Budget.
PS. I also must say that Avis in Athens has same attitude.DS

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Company gave us a cheap upgrade to a nicer car, upon returning the car they informed us that there was hidden damage that we couldn't possibly have caused. Added unnecessary stress and had to finish our holiday with an argument.
