★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a car in Fira, Santorini. When we arrived to the address the office didn’t exist. The solution they gave us it was pick up the car at the airport. We lost the whole morning and they didn’t give us any help. If we’d known, we would have thought different options

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could, I would give zero stars. Robbery-like acceptance of the vehicle already in the parking lot. Guys, take care of your stuff. You won't get things forgotten in the car back. You are being lied to and laughed at!!! Never again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When renting the car the agent never did a walk around and didn't provided us with an existing condition/damage report (should have been a red flag I know). Luckily we took a video of the car damage before driving off the lot.
Regardless, as soon as we returned the car into the lot after our stay on the island, an attendant who we had never met before started to point out "new" damage. This person not present when we rented the car and was clearly trying to scam us.
They intentionally delayed us, arguing about the damage despite our video of the car taken at the time of rental. They continued to argue and waste time to the point we would miss our flight. Eventually we were forced to leave the issue unresolved. I suspect this is also part of the organized scam.
I wouldn't recommend anybody rent from them when there are other options, many cheaper.
A reputable company would have made sure to do a walk around if the customer forgets. But it is clear they didn't do it with us intentionally.
Despite my warning, if you still insist on using them, make sure you get full insurance and take a very DETAILED photographic record of ALL damage before leaving the lot, with the agent present.
If you already have their rental car, come to return it very early giving yourself plenty of time to argue every single ding and scrape before your flight departure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed one month in Greece and I have to say everyone was so nice with exceptional service and they went out of their was to help or serve us except here at Hertz in Santorini. Athens was great. But we arrive 2 hrs early and she did not make an effort to give us a car. She said they had no cars(Low season now) but their parking lot was full. She made us take a taxi with all our luggage and come back with a taxi at 35 euros a pop. Blonde lady on Oct. 15 . Only person in all of greece who was not helpful that we encountered for one month.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our rental experience here was great! I was a little leary because of other reviews, but what can you do when you need a car... at the airport? So we arrived, everything had been booked and paid prior. I was sure to copy/print the policies before arrival and at the desk, everything was just as it should be. The attendant lady was courteous and direct/to the point. She gave us all of the info we needed and also upgraded our car to an electric vehicle which meant NO GAS!!! That was a big plus. The car itself was cool... could have been a bit cleaner, but no big deal. It got us everywhere we needed to go. Upon return, everything was great. I'd rent here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented an electric vehicle (BMW) for 2 days and it worked out well for us. It is a bit hard to park since spaces are tight but there is plenty of parking and it gives you great flexibility to go around the island.
