★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic apartement, prachtig uitzicht op zee! Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren en een sundowner op het strand van het appartement is een aanrader!!! Leuke gemoedelijke sfeer. Wel echt een auto huren om meer van het eiland te zien. Matala vonden we fantastisch!
 Basic apartment, beautiful sea view! Very friendly owners and a sundowner on the beach of the apartment is a must!!! Nice friendly atmosphere. Rent a car to see more of the island. We thought Matala was fantastic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Przepięknie położony, malutki hotelik, skromnie urządzone pokoje ale to nic w porównaniu ze świetnym basenem, w którym przez większość czasu mogliśmy być sami. Właściciele są bardzo mili i pomocni. Dookoła dużo restauracji. Muzeum prowadzi ta sama rodzina- nam również się podobało.
Beautifully situated, tiny hotel, modestly furnished rooms, but nothing compared to a great swimming pool, where we could be alone most of the time. The owners are very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants around. The museum is run by the same family - we liked it too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in this place for 9 nights. It gives you the chance to enjoy the costal scenery in peace from your balcony (if you have a sea view). The room apartmentes are equipped with towels, kitchen, and blankets. The stuff of the hotel are really friendly and give you great tips to discover the city and the nearby islands. The ILIOSTASI beach is very calm and nice to relax. However, if you want a more vital atmosphere, other beaches are just in a walking distance (e.g. Star beach). For me, ILIOSTASI was great.

Thanks alot to Giánnis, his Wife and Pantelis for 2 wonderful weeks here.
We had the best cretan breakfast down in the museum! Everyday another type of typical cretan food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location, top notch customer service, beautiful views and great outdoor areas. The apartment was very clean and everything was so well taken care of. Few steps from the beach and right next to the family-run museum “Lychnostatis”. Highly recommend!!
