Liostasi Hotel & Suites - Greece Ios Cyclades

Superb, beautiful boutique hotel in Ios with world class service, breathtaking views and an outstanding restaurant. Smartly located off a hillside in Ios’ main town, just a few minutes off the main island’s port, its within a few minutes walk from the old town and the 3 picturesque churches atop the town’s hill. Elegantly designed throughout (with the exception of an outdoor old-fashioned oven by that really seems out of place), and with a marvelous swimming pool and lounge area, it offers stunning views of the port and the sunset. The breakfast buffet (with some extra a la carte options) was outstanding, as was the restaurant which offers a modern take at several traditional Greek dishes from a rising young chef. The front desk staff offered some excellent suggestions for local restaurants, beaches and things to do, and made us really feel at home.

Gorgeous hotel 10 minutes walk from the the town. Amazing views of Ios from the rooms. Lovely pool and the on site restaurant is on point. The food was absolutely delicious. Shout out to Michael who made us the best cocktails!

Had an amazing 2 week stay at Liostasi for work. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and you can really tell that they’ve put a huge amount of effort into the design (even better than Soho House hotels). I’ve stayed in 100s of hotels for work and this really is one of the best. The food is also incredible both in presentation and taste. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful but have to give a huge shout out to Michalis on the bar who is always a friendly face and goes above and beyond (he makes sure to learn the name of every single guest which is a rarity). Eleni on the bar was also amazing, not only was she one of the friendless staff members but she made a huge effort to make us feel comfortable and was always checking in to make sure we were happy & enjoying our time. Finally a huge shout out to Anna the manager who also always took time out of her busy day to engage in conversation, make recommendations for local visits and took a genuine interest in our lives and work, as well as always being on hand for a chat when my colleagues were out working and I was on my own. The reception team were also all brilliant as well as the spa staff. I find that many hotels focus purely on design and facilities and neglect the importance of a friendly workforce, but Liostasi does it all. Can’t wait to be back soon!!

The fabulous guest service start even before we get there . They managed to help us don’t miss out ferry . We thought our ferry was leaving the next day but they figure it out we were wrong. Thanks for them we were able to catch the right ferry on time . The hotel is impeccable !!!! Extremely clean , everyone who works there call you by hour name and is always ready to help you with anything you need it . The restaurant is fenomenal , the drinks , breakfast was amazing . The bed was super comfortable . The pool area is one o the most beautiful pool area a have ever seen in a hotel with a gorgeous view of the sunset and bay . Location could not be better. Walking distance to town. I would for sure come back.

If you're staying in Ios, you must stay at Liostasi. Upon walking in we were warmly greeted by the staff (the hotel manager, Alexandra at reception and others!) and felt immediately at ease. Throughout our stay we met even more wonderful people (Mrs. Despina hosted a wonderful cooking class, Michael made the best drinks at the bar). We soaked up the perfect sunset views by the pool and delicious food at Grandma's. The room was spacious with a sunset terrace. Easy walk to town. Could not recommend this hotel more! Our favorite stay of our 5 island trip to Greece!

Amazing property ideally located at the heart of Ios and with a stunning view over the island that literally shines at sunset. What makes Liostasi stand out however are not the excellent facilities and delicious food, but the helpfulness, positivity, reactivity, resourcefulness and generally outstanding nature of the team working there. From the moment you step on the shuttle (or even earlier when planning your trip) to your last second at the property you are looked after with care, professionalism and warmth. We cannot wait to go back.
